Sri Gopalakrishna Temple

Sri Gopalakrishna Temple is located in a quiet, peaceful and serenic Shaktinagar in the outskirts of the Mangalore city. The magnificent five-storey Sri Gopalakrishna Temple at Classique Village in the locality has turned into a pilgrim centre and also a tourist attraction.

The temple spread over 1.5 acres, is in accordance with Vasthu principles and also in adherence to the purity practices followed in the building of temples in the bygone era. In the five storey complex, the temple is located in the fifth floor.  One can easily reach the temple by local K.S.R.T.C bus stop.

This unique Devasthanam is built with the perfection of Vaastu & architectural proficiency under the guidance of renowned architect Muniyangala Krishna Prasad. The 108 steps leading from the basement to the Garbha Gruha symbolizes 108 names of Lord Krishna chanted through Sri Krishna Ashtotthara.


The temple complex spreads over 1.5 acres, is in accordance with Vasthu principles and also in adherence to the purity practices followed in the building of temples in the bygone era. The whole structure of the entrance gateway at the temple is Aestheically designed in chaste Tamil Nadu style.

The Temple has some features such as splendid carvings, grand auditoriums, magnificent gopurams,  polished granite sanctum sanctorum, decorative motifs on walls,  ample car parking, blended with motor able approach roads are bound to attract thousands of pilgrims to this holy centre.

This Devamandir of Lord Gopalakrishna is indeed the incessant holy spring of immeasurable tranquility and spiritual solace.

St Francis Xavier Church

St. Francis Xavier Church, also known as Bejai Church, is a historic Roman Catholic Church situated in the Bejai locality of Mangalore.

 The church was built in 1869 on a plot of land measuring 5.37 acres at Bejai, which was obtained from the British government. The original structure was a chapel from which Sunday masses were offered.


The church was constructed in 1928 and is one of the well Know churches in Mangalore.

Parishioners gather around here for various occasion such a Christmas, Easter, Good Friday services, Sunday and daily services with devotion.

Milagres Church (Mangalore)


The Milagres Church 
Portuguese: Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Milagres
English: Church of Our Lady of Miracles

Is one of the historic Roman Catholic Church situated in the Hampankatta locality of Mangalore. The church was built in 1680 by Bishop Thomas de Castro, a Theatine from Divar, Goa.

The original structure was constructed at the site of the present-day cemetery. It is one of the oldest churches in Dakshina Kannada.

The Old Milagres Church was demolished by the ruler Tipu Sultan along with the other churches of Mangaluru.

Later after Tipu Died the Church was reconstructed by captive Mangalorean Catholic who returned back. one among them was was a baker Lawrence Bello, who built a chapel to replace the demolished church, on the site of the present church at a cost of Rs. 400. 

The present church is build in the year 1911 after the 1811 church completed its 100 years when  the facade of the church collapsed.

The special statues at the church are of Mother Mary, Guardian angel and other angels. Which were recently renovated for the 100 years of celebration in 2011 and changed to silver grey color.

Panambur Beach, Karnataka


Pananbur Beach is located at a distance of 10 kms from the Mangalore city.  One can take a easy roadway facility by Kochi-Panvel Highway by personal vehicle or City Bus which is quiet frequent.
